Budapest Restaurant in Halle (Saale)

The food was of the usual quality, ready to be picked up on time. Gladly again, but hopefully on site again soon.

It took a while until the food was there but it was very, very tasty. Everything was freshly prepared and plentiful. And because of the nice atmosphere, the waiting time wasn't too bad.

I was there on Saturday. Really cozy. The best paprika chicken eaten - sensationally tender. And the pancake was also the best I've ever eaten. The host was very accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

At 21:01 we were told that there was no more kitchen. And they are open until 23:00, on Saturday in peak time !!! We traveled for half an hour at 4 just to eat there. As a Hungarian in a Hungarian restaurant. It was a big disappointment to add to it. 😞

Very rustic restaurant in Hungary too (you have to like it). The prices in Budapest are already higher, but the food is simply delicious. The cook definitely does everything right here. The service very friendly, a point deduction because the waiting times were quite long (drinks 1/2 h and then waited again for almost 1 h for food)

We had lunch here today. When we arrived at 12:30 there were still 3 guests. We were greeted warmly and brought to the table. The drinks came quickly after the order. Unfortunately not the food. It took 45 minutes. Everything looked good. Unfortunately, you could not say that about the taste. In addition, my nocks were cold and also the paprika chicken was only lukewarm. We called the waitress and pointed her out. The reaction was a bit strange. "Oh yes?" The plate was but taken and there were after a short time warm Nockeln. Unfortunately, the taste was not good. It was spiced up to zero. Light food in a retirement home is best. When I said it when clearing off I got in response: "The card says, if you want it sharp, you must specify it when ordering." When Hungary, I expect spicy and spicy food and not just on demand. The other 4 food was OK, but nothing special. The service knew that we celebrate a birthday. A nice gesture would have been to spend the "birthday child" a small schnapps.

Great hungarian food. Very friendly staff. Children friendly restaurant. You can do a reservation even via whatsup! I usually go for a goulash soup with spicy sauce called Eros Pista (Strong Stefan) and for a dessert we pick up flambè "Gundel" pan cake.

Great langos. Can't go wrong with langos. The beer was also great, and the other selections on the menu looked interesting. Would recommend.

Nice ambience and place to have Hungarian food.

I tried number 40 which is chicken in a gravy along with nockerl. But the nockerl was cold and hard. Definitely not worth the 13€ I spent on it. However, my friend had Goulash suppe which she found quite good.
